Where would i go in Manchester to get information about an antique key?
we’re re-doing the floor in my house, and i found a key underneath one of the boards. i would like to find out what it could possibly open and an approximate age of the key. so i thin k i need some kind of antique dealer/researcher or a locksmith. can somebody help me?

You should take a picture of it, but most of the ‘warded’ style keys are from old dressers and roll top desks. These keys are sometimes referred to as skeleton keys by the public. Without the lock itself its not of any real value other than it could be nice to pass on to the next home owner.
